One of the highlights of our trip was our visit to the Zebra Experience Centre in Penang.

The visit gave our team the opportunity to experience Zebra’s technologies and solutions up close, while gaining a deeper understanding of how they can support businesses in improving visibility, productivity, accuracy, and operational efficiency.

From barcode scanning and mobile computing to RFID, machine vision, automation, and other intelligent solutions, the demonstrations gave us valuable perspectives on how technology continues to transform industries such as manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, retail, and supply chain operations.

More importantly, the visit allowed our team to exchange ideas with Zebra, discuss market developments, and strengthen our knowledge so that we can better advise and support our customers.

Discovering the Possibilities with Avery Dennison

Our Penang journey continued with a visit to Avery Dennison, another important technology partner within the identification and intelligent labelling ecosystem.

The visit provided valuable exposure to the latest developments in labels, RFID and intelligent identification technologies, as well as the role these solutions can play in creating greater visibility throughout the supply chain.

As businesses move towards more connected and data-driven operations, technologies such as RFID and intelligent labels are becoming increasingly important. They enable organisations to identify, track, manage, and understand their assets and products more effectively.

For our team, seeing these technologies and discussing their real-world applications helped us better understand how hardware, software, labels, RFID, and data can work together as part of a complete solution.

From Technology to Teamwork: Pickleball Time!

After a productive series of visits and discussions, it was time to swap technology demonstrations for paddles!

Our pickleball team-building session brought a different kind of energy to the trip. There were plenty of rallies, competitive moments, laughter, and, of course, some unexpected pickleball talent within the team.

Beyond the fun, the activity reminded us that teamwork isn’t limited to the workplace.

Communication, trust, encouragement, adaptability, and working together towards a common goal are just as important on the court as they are when we are solving challenges for our customers.

It was a great opportunity for everyone to unwind, connect with colleagues outside the usual working environment, and strengthen the relationships that make us a better team.
